I am delighted to announce that, on behalf of Norsk og Polsk Kultur Organisasjon (NPoK), I have started a meaningful partnership with the Polish foundation Fundacja Otwarty Krąg to implement the project "All Generations Art Studio."
This initiative is part of the BeFORme project, supported by the Fund for Bilateral Relations (FWD) through the Norwegian and EEA Grants. Its primary goal is to strengthen intergenerational bonds through creativity and education. Thanks to the collaboration between organizations from Norway and Poland, the project offers a unique opportunity to integrate different generations—youth, their families, and seniors, including grandparents—around shared activities.
While the cooperation began in 2023, it is only now, in the second half of 2024, that we are excited to bring this vision to life. The central activities will take place in Poland and include:
The game "Open to Being Together" – an inclusive activity designed for four generations, accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The game fosters openness and promotes intergenerational dialogue.
Sensory interlacing "Dottka Folk" – a creative workshop inspired by the folklore of both Norway and Poland.
In Norway, the project will feature:
A generational art exhibition by the Wodniccy family on Haramsøy.
Integrational ceramic workshops in Trondheim, designed to bring people of all ages together in a creative space.
The "All Generations Art Studio" is organized by the Otwarty Krąg Foundation in Poland in collaboration with its Norwegian partner, NPoK – Norsk Polsk Kultur Organisasjon.
This project highlights the power of cultural exchange and collaboration across generations and borders. We look forward to building lasting connections and celebrating creativity together!
